WALKING IN MENORCA
Introduction
Menorca is a calm island, ideal for hiking. Declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993, its most popular trekking route is GR-223, also known as 'Camí de Cavalls' (horse track). This popular route circles the entire island, while walking through turquoise water beaches, cliffs, lighthouses and megalithic settlements. With this tour you will discover many of these hidden places and some of the most astonishing stages of the 'Camí de cavalls'.
Maó and Ciutadella are the main tourist centres in Menorca, where you can feel like home, relax and enjoy an excellent local gastronomy.

ARRIVAL IN MENORCA

PONT D’EN GIL → CALA MORELL

Today's hike starts in the inland village of Es Migjorn Gran, following the path to the Cliff of Binagous and visiting the astonishing Cova des Coloms (pigeons cave), before arriving at Binagous beach. The itinerary continues by the cliffs leading to the small beaches, known by locals as "Calas", of Escorxada, Fustam, Trebalúger, Mitjana and Mitjaneta. The route will end at Cala Galdana.

The crown jewel will be Bassa de Morella, the most important and wide wetland in the Balearic Islands.
